9to5 - Just got my press package for the movie. #NSFW
Judging from the trailer and the background material I got from the makers of the film, it sounds and looks interesting.
I don't want to be judgmental. I haven't watched the documentary yet, either.
But I've heard from a couple of friends of mine who either used to live in the valley or still do and know young women in porn, that life in the adult movie business does/can suck and seems to be full of shattered dreams.
Not to come across as overly conservative, but that is what I would kind of expect. Not every story has a semi-happy ending as Boogie Nights would make you want to believe - by the way, good flick, go watch it if you missed out on it ten years ago.
Let's see what the take of the documentary and the people portrayed is on this matter.
A sidenote: depending on where you work, the trailer and the links are probably NSFW.
