9to5 - Just got my press package for the movie. #NSFW

Judging from the trailer and the background material I got from the makers of the film, it sounds and looks interesting.

I don't want to be judgmental. I haven't watched the documentary yet, either.

But I've heard from a couple of friends of mine who either used to live in the valley or still do and know young women in porn, that life in the adult movie business does/can suck and seems to be full of shattered dreams.

San Fernando Valley

Not to come across as overly conservative, but that is what I would kind of expect. Not every story has a semi-happy ending as Boogie Nights would make you want to believe - by the way, good flick, go watch it if you missed out on it ten years ago.

Let's see what the take of the documentary and the people portrayed is on this matter.

A sidenote: depending on where you work, the trailer and the links are probably NSFW.

When your friends are a little *nutty* but fun otherwise, they invite you to events such as this #beer #erotic (?) #sfw

Jun - as depicted a trillion times on the embedded slideshow - is getting ready to turn into a partyanimal once more.

Now the only thing I need to figure out is where and how to set my priorities for the weekend ... Augustiner beer hall or studying ... Augustiner beer hall OR studying ... Augustiner beer hall ... IT IS ... after having studied, a little ;)

P.S.: Yes, it still holds true. I don't even like beer. Isn't that crazy?

P.P.S.: Dude, Jun, I should have probably put a black bar over your last name. Sorry, totally forgot about it ;)

P.P.P.S.: Oh, the reason for me sharing this note is to let you know, that if you are a fan and want to meet up with me, feel free to drop by! This will most likely be the last chance to meet up before I dive into heavy studying mode. I doubt that I'll surface anytime over the next three weeks. Our apartment is bursting with cans of Heinz Baked Beans and Chili Con Carne :D

Pretty pictures of pretty people in pretty poses

I love flickr. I think the flickr community is second to none as far as photo sharing sites go. Being sick and more or less confined to the bed for the last few days, I used the time to add some more photos to my flickr favorites.

Just recently, I discovered Kenneth Kouot's photo stream. Below you can find a selection of my favs of his making. IMHO, the lightwork is just *wow*, especially given the simple means he seems to have utilized. I really like the models' style and make-up, too.

Another photographer whose photos I have come to appreciate over the last year or so is Lou O'Bedlam. I suggest you treat yourself to his photos as well. Good stuff.

Friendfeed provides for a good overview of my latest favorites.

On a photographic sidenote, does anybody have any experience with the AlienBees?

This is what you look like when paddling hard #wiisportsresort @iPhoneBlog @vgsanka @emonk_net

Nintendo invited us to spend some time with their upcoming Wii Sports Resort title, resembling their latest collection of mini games, bound to at least captivate casual gamer audiences.

It is Nintendo's flagship title for their new WiiMote add-on - the Wii MotionPlus. They are targeting a release, roughly a month from now, i.e. late July 2009.

Total Gossip Girl Overload. Good that gf settled for the MacBook, leaving the TV for me ;)

Yes, I have always been a sucker for *good* teenage/twen TV drama series and I am guilty of having enjoyed 90210, Melrose Place and O.C. California ;)

One set on the East Coast is a first for me though. Let's see how it shapes up, just got started.
